"Cheesy" Potatoes

"Cheesy" Sauce
1/2 cup oil (1st amount)
1/2 cup flour
3 1/2 cups boiling water
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
salt to taste
1/4 cup oil (2nd amount)
1 cup nutritional yeast

Cook flour in first amount of oil, whisking continuously. Add water, soy sauce, garlic and salt. Cook until thick and bubbly.
Add second amount of oil and nutritional yeast. Whip until smooth.

For "cheesy" topping:
Pour sauce over cooked potatoes.

Or for a casserole:
Preheat oven to 450.
Slice 4 potatoes thinly and place in a greased casserole dish.
Pour sauce over potatoes and stir to coat.
Top with Praprika and bake covered 30 minute, and 30 minutes uncovered until potatoes are tender and browned.
